lemon, mint, and parmesan pasta
There are mint plants growing in my herb garden. I don’t know how they got there but one day after a rainy week, about six of them magically appeared. Thankfully they’ve been kept alive pretty well by the moisture from all the fog because… I usually forget about garden responsibilities. I found this recipe that calls for mint and I’ve been meaning to make it for a while. I used farfalle instead of fettuccine and my proportions were different because I made a lot less, but it was pretty good and I felt very accomplished using mint fresh from my own garden. Plus the delicious berries on the side are from the Stonestown farmer’s market last Sunday, so it looks like I’m the Sandra Lee of semi-locally sourced cooking!
